Stock Overview

Objective

As a Seller I want to have always an overview of my available stock of my products. Products of my own, which are located in my warehouse as well as items, which got send to the Ventures warehouse for faster processing. There might be also stock from e.g. returned or canceled items, which is located in the Ventures warehouse. Also about this stock the Seller needs to know.

The product overview allows Seller to see immediately the amount of his whole stock for his products. The stock column sums up the following stock values:

  • allocated Stock (in Sellers warehouse)
  • Fulfillment by Venture Stock (in Venture warehouse)
  • Canceled Stock (in Venture warehouse)
  • Returned Stock (in Venture warehouse)
  • Not sellable Stock (in Venture warehouse)
When a seller does a mouse-over on a stock value of a product, a tool tip is displayed when there is stock available outside of the Sellers own warehouse. This tool tip contains already a seperated view on the amount of items in the according warehouses.

When a Seller wants to have a more detailed view or if the amount of the local stock wants to get updated, the Seller clicks on the stock value of a product.

Only the allocated stock is editable, as this is the stock, which exists in the sellers warehouse.

Others stocks which might be available in the Ventures warehouse are not editable, but listed. Depending on the information, which Seller Center receives, this stock gets either added or deducted from the total available stock

Order related stock information on product overview

Reserved Stock:

  • Stock for imported not processed orders

Real Time Stock:

  • Order is in the Shop System available, but due to financial verification not yet published to Seller Center
  • This stock amount of the ordered products is transmitted by the Shop System to Seller Center
  • It should inform the Seller that there will be soon orders arriving in Seller Center, which these products

Product Import

Bulk update of stock values, can be done under Product > Import Products.

On the right site there is the option available, to export a template which contains all stock values of all products.

This export includes all products which are available for a Seller. This means also inactive products get exported
As usually Seller only want to update their active products with new stock values, it is more convinient to filter already for active products.

Fulfillment by Venture Overview

Amount of products, which are currently in the Venture warehouse located. Upon mouse-over, a more detailed view gets displayed for sellable and non-sellable stock.

Warehouse stock is regularly send by the Shop’s Order Management System to Seller Center.

Export of Fulfillment products.

The export contains an overview of all product stock values which are currently in the Shops warehouse available.
