Most Frequently Used Categories
Objective
During product creation over the GUI, the first step is the selection of the categories – where all categories are listed. Having a look on live data, 50% of the mid-Sellers’ catalog belongs to only 2-4 categories and 75% of their catalog belongs to 3-10 categories.* Given this data, Sellers actually require only a limited amount of categories.
Therefore, the Most Used Categories feature allows Seller to speed up their product creation. Sellers can select from a personalized list of the most commonly-used categories.
Critical Knowledge
- The list is restricted to seven (7) categories that represent 50% of the Seller’s catalog (both numbers are configurable by maintenance users).
- The list is updated every 24 hours
If you want to change the percentage of SKUs that are analyzed or the amount of listed categories, please raise a TMLSD ticket specifying your requirements. The parameters are:
- Percentage of SKU analyzed: most_used_category/percentage_of_sku
- Amount of listed categories: most_used_category/maximum_amount
