Partial Shipment Restriction Based on Order Status

Objective

For the Venture to force Sellers to fulfill their order on package/order-level, except during cancellation and return (when fulfillments on item-level must be allowed).

Critical KnowledgeIf you want to enable partial shipment restrictions on order item-level, please raise a TMLSD ticket. The parameter that needs to be enabled is order/partially_restrict_order_item_actions/enabled.

Restrictions

Description Example
  • For the following flows, the fulfillment is possible on item-level:
    • “Pending” -> “Canceled”
    • “Ready to ship” -> “Canceled”
    • “Delivered” -> “Returned”
  • For the following flows, the fulfillment is only possible on order-level:
    • “Pending” -> “Ready to ship”
    • “Ready to ship” -> “Shipped”
    • “Shipped” -> “Delivered”
    • “Shipped” -> “Delivery Failed”
