Master Template – Mapping

Objective

  • Create a master template out of Seller products
  • Link other Seller products to the master template
    Example If a Seller has created a product with great content, admin users can use the Shop SKU of that product and upload it in the Master Mapping functionality.

    Critical Knowledge Conditions for reference Seller products:

    • Will only work for products that are already synced to the Shop backend.
      • Seller Center needs the Shop SKU.
    • Will only work for products that only have one variation.
      • Multiple variations will give an error message.
    • Will only work for products that have an existing identifier (EAN,UPC).
    • Will only work for products that are not in quality control.

    Critical Knowledge Conditions for linking additional products to the reference product:

    • Must have the same identifier.
      • Products that have a different identifier will be ignored.
    • Products that have the same identifier will be linked.
    • Products that have no identifier will be linked.

     

     Master Mapping via CSV

    • Pick a product and copy the Shop SKU.
      • E.g.: via “Edit product”

    • Go to Administration > Manage Master Templates > Import

    • Download the mapping template.

    • Fill in the columns.
    • Attention: You need to use new columns for new products that need to be linked.
