Master Template – External Competitors
Contents
Objective
- Add external prices to master templates.
- Display competitor prices during master product creation.
- Display competitor prices in the Price Competition Overview.
Critical Knowledge Conditions for Reference Seller Products:
- Sellers will only see listing price and up to eight competitor prices, even if there are more competitors.
- In order to increase competition, during product listing Sellers will only see competitor prices that are lower than the listing price.
- In Price Competition Overview, Sellers will see external competitors that have listed lower prices than the Seller’s price.
Create Competitors
# Description Image 1 - Go to Administration > Manage Master Templates
2 - Click “Competitor Setup”
3 - Possibility to create a new price competitor is available.
- Click “Add New Price Competitor”
- These competitors will become available in the CSV.
4 - Fill in the fields.
- Name will be visible for the Sellers.
- Status determines if they will be active or inactive.
5 - Competitor is created afterwards.
- You can decide which competitor and competitor prices will be visible to the Sellers.
Create Master Templates with Competitor Prices
# Description Image 1 - Download a master template CSV.
2 - Next to the default price, you will find the external competitor prices.
- Create new products and fill the columns for the external competitor with prices.
Update Products with Competitor Prices
# Description Image 1 - Download the “Price Competitors” template.
2 - Fill the columns for the external competitor with prices.
Price Competitor Visibility for the Seller
