Introduction

Seller Center has begun offering different shipping options to customers. In addition to the  standard shipping option, customers can now choose a faster delivery option (Express) or a cheaper but slower delivery option (Economy).

Objective

• Inform Sellers about the different shipping options a Venture has made available for them.
• Allow Sellers to set their preferred delivery option at SKU-level if it is different from what has been set at the Seller-level by a Venture.
  If you want to enable Differentiated Shipping functionality, please raise a TMLSD ticket. The parameter that needs to be enabled is differentiated_shipping/enabled.

How it Works – Admin

Admin users can set delivery options individually for each Seller in Seller Center. This can be done in Administration > Seller Management > Select the Seller > Edit under the “Delivery Options” tab.
Admin can set delivery options in Seller Center for Sellers in bulk. This can be done under Administration > Seller Management > Import

 How it Works – Sellers

A Seller can view the status of the different delivery option set by a Venture admin. The Seller will see “undefined” if: This delivery option is new and a Venture admin has not specified whether it is enabled for the Seller. The Seller is new and a Venture admin has not specified which delivery options are enabled for the Seller.
Seller can specify their preferred delivery options one-by-one or via bulk import at product-level. Three new attributes (delivery_option_standard, delivery_option_express and delivery_option_economy) are available for Sellers. If a Seller does not specify any option (i.e., they remain as “Please select”), then the Shop will decide which delivery options will be displayed to customers during checkout based on the Seller-level setting. A Seller cannot select a delivery option that is not available to them at the Seller-level. This option will remain unclickable for them.
