Free Text Fields

Objective

The Free Text Fields feature allow the Seller to give extra information in text form during the signup process.

Admin are allowed to:

  • Decide whether a free text field is displayed in either steps 2, 3, or 4 of the signup process.
  • Customize the label of the field.

Setup

Step Description Image
1 Go to Administration > Content Management > Add Text Block ftf2
2 Add a text block for every free text field with the following attributes:

  • The “Content Slots” are fixed and related to the step number. Use one of the following content names:
    • Signup_S2_freetext
    • Signup_S3_freetext
    • Signup_S4_freetext
  • In the “Content” field, an admin should name the label of the field that will appear in the signup.

Critical KnowledgeFree text fields have to be configured for every language present in  Seller Center.

For instance, if your Seller Center uses English and French, then every CMS block has to be set in both languages.
