Best Selling – Definition
-
“Best selling products” are defined as the top 20% most sold products within the last 14 days.
- Example: if 1000 SKUs have been sold within the last 14 days, the best selling products will be the 200 SKUs that have been sold the most amount of times.
Best Selling Sales Contribution – Definition
- “Contribution” is a percentage displayed on the Top Selling widget on the homepage.
-
Calculation:
- Calculated as a percentage of the total sales revenue share from the top selling products in the past 14 days compared to the revenue of all products sold in the past 14 days.
- Formula: Best Selling Sales Contribution = SUM (sales revenue from best selling products in the past 14 days) / SUM (sales revenue from all SKUs in the past 14 days) * 100
-
For the example above, this would mean:
- Top Selling Sales Contribution = Sales revenue from 200 best selling SKUs in the past 14 days / sales revenue from all the 1000 SKUs sold in the past 14 days * 100
-
